Facebook, Web 2.0 etc

Is it just me or video communities or Web 2.0 communities such as Facebook are getting to overvalued?
I was reading an article in WSJ regarding Microsoft attempt to buy 5% of facebook for est. $500m. This would give Facebook a value of $10bn, consider their estimated profits are less then $30MILLION. I mean is it just me or is the tech boom back?

What do you guys think?

In the mean time, I am still waiting for Apple to announce their new aluminium macbook.
This is all rumours, which apple strongly denies. However, apple is not really known for divulging future products. They denied the Iphone until the very last second. Also, the rumours state that the price will be dropped, which will put them in direct competition with companies such as Dell, Acer, HP etc. This would do magic for the sales, profits and the share price......
Maybe I should buy some apple stock?!?!?
